The environments were pretty interesting in Spongebob. Each level is based on a certain property, so there were quite a few different styles going on. A lot of my time near the end was spent doing paintovers of barebones levels to help the environment guys. All said, we got the game done in a crazy short dev cycle.
Here are some environment pieces done for an unreleased game at THQ's former Concrete Games. We had a good team going but things just didn't pan out. What can be said is lots of great connections were made and the continued relationships of those who worked there attest to the mutual respect we had for each other.
Well, the time has finally come to make a concerted effort in getting up to date art onto the web. Having said that, these first few posts are ironically older work. Also, be sure to check out the links of both past and present co-workers I've had the privilege of working with. Cheers,
