Borderlands 2 Announced!


We've finally announced Borderlands 2. Very exciting around the office. We're all stoked big time on this project, and I've been blown away with the progress made in the last year and a half. Lots of talented folks all coming together under a unified vision sure makes game development a whole lot easier.

Here's the Game Informer cover that should be on shelves in a couple weeks.

Star Raiders









Been a long while since my last post. I did these Star Raiders pieces for Incinerator Studios. Was fun to work with Jeff Garstecki again.

The Carrier and Battle Cruiser pieces are paintovers of Jeff's ship design blockouts. He needed surface color/details worked out.

The Rapture is a second ship design based loosely on the Jasper attack craft.

The weapon pieces are modules that slide into the player's weapons bay. They represent your secondary fire mode.

Many thanks to the Pixel Yard for giving me the opportunity to teach a workshop today. This was my first official foray into teaching, and I must say, it was both exhilarating and terrifying. The workshop revolved around creating a grayscale image within Photoshop. Starting with a blank canvas and working through the drudgery of finding forms while also talking myself through it was pretty intense. I didn't relax until things started to fall into place. Jason Rowells, Brian Johnson, and Eddie Maristela run a tight program over there, and I am honored to have taught with them.

Revamped Website
